Kleptocurrency, marketed dishonestly as cryptocurrency, is desired by the wealthy oligarchs, aristocrat wannabes, that have purchased the spineless, Republican criminal syndicate (RCS). They want kleptocurrency because it’s: unregulated, unreported, untracked, untraceable and unsupported by any OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development; richest economies of the world) nation's central bank.
It’s currency for criminal enterprises. Kleptocurrency's value is determined by whatever criminals will pay, because it has no legal value; if you don't take what you're offered in trade, there is no legal recourse.
Oh, and bitcoin (the
pseudo-currency of klepto) mining uses incredible amounts of water and electricity in incredibly needy data centers.
If you've got investments that include Klepto/crypto you might want to divest, especially if you can get your money back in real, OECD nation supported funds: euros, US dollars, etc.... You may not get back your initial investment, and (if you've an investment manager) the value and immediacy of that trade may be resisted.
