Pardons, and the Innocents Who Don't Need Them...

When he was President, Richard Nixon said, "...when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal.” Yet, when Nixon resigned from the office, the newly sworn in President, Gerald Ford, pardoned Mr. Nixon... Pardons are not needed for those who are innocent; whose acts were, “not illegal.”

In the same vein, the 45th President said, ““I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters,” and has also claimed, similar to Nixon, that it isn't criminal if a President does it; claimed Presidential immunity from prosecution.

Therefore, the current President, Joe Biden, could shoot the orange menace, former President, and it would not be illegal; Biden would also have Presidential immunity.

Chew on that SCOTUS.
