No Need for Those Data Centers

 The ginormous, problematic, data centers in question are not needed.

There are multiple ways to take advantage of AI on your local: laptop/PC/MAC; don’t need the use of cloud computing in a ginormous, data center.

These are just some of the options available to the users of extremely powerful CPU/GPU equipped computing environs.

Another problem with Large Language Models (LLM) is that they copy/utilize information that is stored on central, cloud, computing environments; those in the ginormous data centers. That information is not theirs to use even if they were to properly cite credit for information that is, “borrowed.” 

The key point here is that the data centers causing problems, because they use/abuse enormous quantities of water and electricity (and other problems they create) aren’t needed.
